BULLET RECOVERY BOX
• The ballistics section of FSL is required to test fire bullets/Projectile To examine questioned bullets/projectiles to compare individual characteristics marks on the exhibits.
• The instrument is used for the recovery of bullets from various small firearms in firing range.
• The instrument shall be used for the recovery of bullets fired from all types of small firearms for example revolvers, pistols, etc.

BULLET PULLER AND RELOADER
Purpose : Removal of bullet from shell and reload the same bullet to the same shell after increasing OR decreasing the propellant powder of following cartridges (up to 12.7mm caliber)

VIBRATION TABLE
• PERFORMING VIBRATION TESTING OF BULLETPROOF JACKETS AS PER IS 17051:2018
• Equipment determines the ability of the Hard Armor panels to withstand the transport vibration.
• Cam ensures that the difference in surface level between the table extremities shall not exceed 25.4mm. The equi-length Chrome shafts transmit motion in such a manner that the top surface is always horizontal during vibration.
• Operate the table at 5Hz (300 RPM) for the predetermined period of 1 hour.

PANEL HOLDING FIXTURE
PANEL SHEET HOLDING FIXTURES – These fixtures are used to mount metal panels as well as glass panels for bullet proofing capabilities.
Available Sizes:- 300 X 300mm/ 500mm X 500mm.Sheet Thickness of 4mm to 12 mm can be clamped in this fixture.
For glass panels, rubber lining is done and glass thickness of up to 50mm can be clamped.

SUBMERSION TANK
NAME OF EQUIPMENT: FLUID EXPOSURE TANK ( CLAUSE 8.2 OF IS 17050:2018)
This standard prescribes the minimum performance requirements of bullet resistant jackets for protection against small arms and ammunition and provides procedures for their evaluation. The scope of the standard is limited to physical and ballistic evaluation of bullet resistant jackets against in-service small arms ammunition used by the Indian armed forces, paramilitary, state police forces and other law enforcement agencies
